Sonia and I traveled to the Northwest to see family (Scott and Sarah, and Jared and Terri) and go to one of my high school friends weddings just South of Portland. It was Jack's first flight, and neither Sonia or I really knew what to expect. We both had a little fear in our belly, but we both agreed we wouldn't travel less as a result of having kids. He was a bit of a fussypants at the airport and on the plane, but nothing extreme. Sonia got him to sleep the last hour of the flight and we were both able to relax and enjoy the flight. By the time we got to Sarah and Scott's house in Tacoma Jack had enough travel for the day and it was a bit challenging to get him to sleep....lots of bouncing on the ball. We'll be up here for the next week and so far the weather has been beautiful. The summers up here really are quite amazing. Today is also Sarah's birthday, so we were happy to help her celebrate. Happy Birthday Sarah!
